HHF Forensics novices and judges depart for Laurel Christian Whatever our debaters choose to do with their lives, they’ll be better prepared for it because of the work they’re doing via Varsity Debate at Hattiesburg High School. HHS Debate is dedicated to bringing the best in training and preparation to our students. An education in the Communicative Arts instills discipline, hones group skills, and exposes students to the rigors of work under pressure and the rewards of a committed goal-oriented effort. It teaches skills that will last a lifetime. It is an integral and essential part of a complete education. Affiliated with both The National Forensic League and The National Catholic Forensic League, HHS debaters annually attend national championship tournaments. In addition, HHS hosts The Hub City Classic and The Biloxi Catholic Forensic League Qualifying Tournament. From Mississippi Youth Congress to Howard and Yale, HHS debate provides inspiration to young orators and future policy makers, ignites careers in communication and prepares our students for life in the work-a-day world.
