PARENTS:

Please pick up your children in a timely manner. In recent tournaments, Mr. Waldrop has had to wait for 30 minutes for parents.

Please be respectful of Mr. Waldrop's time and show him your thanks for all that he does for your child by being on time when picking up your child after tournaments.

1.  The Forensics team will travel to Stennis this weekend on the campus of Mississippi State University for a novice tournament.  The team will depart HHS at 8am on Friday, September 11 and return to HHS on Saturday 12, at 10:00pm.  The return time is tentative and may change depending on tournament details that may change and travel time.  Students are encouraged to call home :30 minutes before arrival back at HHS to alert parents.  PLEASE BE ON TIME TO PICK UP YOUR CHILD.

2.  Because of the nature of the activity, forensics students are exposed to students from across the state and should be particular careful/mindful of the exposure.  I have spoken with students about "health tips" when traveling.  Parents are encouraged to send anti- bacterial gels and wipes for student use at the tournament.

3.  Students are to wear jeans and travel t-shirts (shirts provided by the department) for the departure to Stennis.

4.  Students should report directly to Mr. Waldrop's office on Friday morning.  DO NOT REPORT TO FIRST PERIOD.  Students should have already reminded their teachers about the tournament and asked for assignments.  Parents are encouraged to stay on top of this!!!!

5.  Mr. Waldrop may be reached on this trip by calling 601-596-5763.
